Now is the time to register for Fall Courses!  To find out what courses we are offering here at the downtown Palmer Campus, you can go do Course Search on our webpage. This is the most up-to-date listing. We offer Full-Term Fall classes (14 weeks), Fall 1 compressed courses (7 weeks), and Fall 2 compressed courses (7 weeks) as well as evening and online options. Whatever your scheduling needs, we have options for you!

If you are planning to transfer to a four-year-college, ore getting your general education classes out of the way for another of our programs, here are your classroom course options at the downtown campus:

Grand Opening of PTK Grocery Vault 2 - Downtown on Jan 31st

Come to Palmer room 104 on January 31st between 1:00-3:00 to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Palmer Campus PTK Grocery Vault 2-Downtown. The TTC Vault, either on Main or Downtown, is open to all students and staff in need. Admissions Officer Gregory Cushing hosted an Angel Tree leading up to the Holiday Break during which our campus community donated the food that is currently on the shelves. If you missed out on that opportunity but would still like to donate,  you can bring donations to the Admissions Office and put them in the big green can.  Want to help further? Volunteers are needed to stock and staff the PTK Grocery Vault 2-Downtown. East Side History Series: St. Julian Devine and “The Great Game of Politics”

This portrait of St. Julian Devine now hangs on the second floor of the St. Julian Devine Community Center, just across from the elevator. by Susan Millar Williams, Ph. D.  Those who live and work on the East Side know the name St. Julian Devine—it’s the name of the community center located in the old city incinerator, on East Bay Street between Blake and Cooper Streets. But who was the man behind the name.  According to a plaque at the center, St. Julian Devine was born in Berkeley County on July 5, 1911 but moved to Charleston as a youngster because his father worked for the railroad. He was the seventh of eight children born to Frank and Sarah Wise Devine, and the only one to survive childhood. He attended Burke High School, married Priscilla Theresa Walton in 1935, and fathered ten children. He was active in the A.M.E. church and in several fraternal organizations.
